Persons attending this program will learn pre-use inspection, proper use and application of rigging gear. Course focus includes making sure all participants fully understand sling hitches, proper rigging gear assemblies and working load limits.  A signal person is required when the point of operation isn’t in full view of the operator, when the operator’s view is obstructed in the direction the equipment is traveling and if the operator or person handling the load determines that a signal person is needed due to site-specific safety concerns.
